This is from the Berlin Album MINDFUL by Bilders’ mastermind Bill Direen, newzealands LoFi pioneer, Composer, Neo Beatpoet; poetry and book/storywriter recorded 2008 as a comment and momentary view and musical document to a public traffic system strike in berlin. Recorded without practice, in good old spontaneous manner like LoFi / D.I.Y philosophy works, Bill surrounded interesting musicians, berlin residents and born berliners at the Photogallery Ray studio by his friend Gunter Dietrich in Prenzlauer Berg and recorded some new poems and songs and velvetish bildereenish music adhoc in 3 days time on some basic equipment. Bills longtime Berlin Bilders mate TT G(eigen)schrey did not only play the Elektrick-Viola in onetakes between bringing (and catching up with) his little 6 and 7 years old Bilders Fan children Nemo and Milan at their kindergarten, he also cowrote some of the tracks, as he composed the melody arrangements and violinlines to "Nordbahnhof" and "Birds & telephones". He also composed and played freehand improv violin accompaniments in the Introsong "Trance", where you can also hear TT’s children drum on dishes at the beginning, and on "Sweet Song". Other Musicians were Jon Evans who also partly did the recording and mixes and the french DJ legend Fred Morvan, and Dave Allen.
